The idea behind this MoraAzul collection is a play on words, combining purple and blue as colors, and the blueberry, also known as the blueberry fruit. In terms of color, the goal was to experiment with the anodizing process to achieve dynamic, shifting tones that follow the movement of the color wheel from "blue-green" to "red-violet."
This first batch was manufactured by experimenting with a color anodizing processing method. The method consisted of working each batch of purple and blue under the same atmospheric conditions and pigment proportions, with the only variable being the electrochemical exposure time.
The result is an attractive collection of 255 unique pieces that gradually fade from the most intense shades to the soft and delicate pastel tones of Purple to Blue.

Anodized aluminum products are chemically stable and safe. Anodizing is an electrolytic treatment applied to aluminum to give it a surface resistant to wear and corrosion. This treatment forms a durable and protective layer of aluminum oxide that adheres to the metal.
Anodized aluminum is ideal for cold or chilled beverages; avoid using it with hot liquids. Before use, remove any adhesive without using sharp tools that could damage the surface. If any adhesive residue remains, remove it with a cloth or paper towel dampened with alcohol. To prolong the life of your anodized aluminum, we suggest considering the following.
Cleaning : Hand wash the product with a soft sponge and warm water, using a mild dish soap. Avoid using alkaline detergents, as they may damage the material. This product is not suitable for dishwashers, ovens, direct heat, or microwaves.
Proper use : Avoid cutting or chopping food directly on the anodized aluminum surface, as this may damage it. Please note that improper use is not covered by the product warranty.
Chemicals : Do not use bleach or products containing chlorine or soda, such as oven cleaners, as they could affect the anodized layer.
Precautions : Not suitable for dishwasher, oven, direct flame or microwave.
Recyclable and environmentally friendly : This product is made of aluminum, which is 100% recyclable without losing its physical properties. The aluminum recycling process is energy efficient, requiring only 5% of the energy needed to produce primary aluminum.
