An example of its rich tradition can be found among the weavers of Totitlán del Valle in Oaxaca, Mexico, who have maintained this technique for generations, producing textiles with traditional designs from the region. Their work is appreciated worldwide, representing a valuable part of Mexico's cultural heritage.

Wool Care
Follow these tips to keep your wool garment in perfect condition:
Wash in cold or low temperature water, using the delicate cycle. Avoid hot water, as it could cause significant shrinkage.
Do not use a spin dryer or tumble dryer, and avoid hanging to dry if possible. Ideally, lay it flat to dry.
Do not iron if possible; if necessary, use the lowest temperature.
If dry cleaning is necessary, ensure that mild solvents are used.
